The Mini 5 Pro is a lightweight drone weighing only 250g. It comes with a powerful 1-inch 50MP CMOS sensor capable of recording 4K videos at up to 120fps. Video can be captured in different color profiles including D-Log M, HLG, or Normal mode, stored on the 42GB internal memory or a microSD card. Its gimbal offers 225° roll rotation and supports true vertical shooting, making it perfect for social media content. With improved omnidirectional vision sensing, the drone ensures safer flights, even in low light. The starting price is €799.

A True Successor in the Mini Series

Two years after the Mini 4 Pro, the Mini 5 Pro finally arrives as a strong upgrade in the sub-250g category. While other small drones were released in between, none offered the same level of improvements.

1-Inch 50MP Sensor

One of the biggest upgrades is the camera. The drone carries a 50MP 1-inch CMOS sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 24mm equivalent focal length, giving an 84° field of view. It supports JPEG and RAW photos up to 8192×6144 resolution, burst shots, AEB, and timed captures. The gimbal allows wide 225° rotation and vertical shooting for creative angles and social media posts.

Video Recording – Up to 4K 120fps

The Mini 5 Pro can shoot video in:

• 4K: up to 120fps
• FHD: up to 240fps

Clips above 60fps are saved as slow motion. The maximum bitrate is 130Mbps. Dynamic range reaches up to 14 stops in HDR mode. Available color profiles are:

• D-Log M (10-bit, best for grading)
• HLG (10-bit HDR)
• Normal mode (up to ISO 12800)

There’s also a new 48mm Med-Tele mode for closer shots with better detail, plus portrait optimization for improved skin tones.

Battery, Storage, and Transfer

The standard flight battery keeps the weight at 250g with up to 36 minutes of flight time (about 21 minutes in practice). An optional larger battery (not in EU) can extend flights up to 52 minutes. Storage includes 42GB built-in plus support for microSD up to 1TB. Data transfer is possible through USB-C or wireless QuickTransfer with Wi-Fi 6.1 at up to 100MB/s.

Advanced Safety with Omnidirectional Vision

The drone uses an advanced vision sensing system with multiple sensors and LiDAR, making flights safer during both day and night. It can detect and avoid obstacles, memorize flight routes, and return safely even without GPS.
