The Accsoon SeeMo 4K HDMI Adapter for Android is now being shipped

Chinese tech company Accsoon, recognized for its wireless video transmission and monitoring tools in film and broadcast production, has officially released the SeeMo 4K HDMI adapter for Android. First previewed at NAB 2025, the adapter is now shipping and marks a notable shift in the company’s ecosystem—previously limited to iOS. This compact solution delivers 4K at 30fps monitoring, recording, and live streaming directly to Android phones and tablets, retailing at $149.

The Android version of the SeeMo 4K represents a major step forward for Accsoon, bringing the same low-latency video monitoring and recording capabilities to a broader audience. It’s designed for mobile content creators, filmmakers, and journalists who work primarily on Android platforms.

Turning an Android device into a monitor

Modern Android smartphones and tablets feature displays with clarity and brightness comparable to dedicated on-camera monitors. The SeeMo 4K takes advantage of these high-quality screens using Accsoon’s redesigned See App, transforming consumer devices into professional monitoring tools.
The companion app offers a comprehensive set of monitoring features accessible through touch controls:

  • Waveform and histogram analysis
  • Real-time LUT support with live preview
  • Focus peaking and false color indicators
  • Zebra pattern overlays for exposure warning and audio level meters
  • Mirror image function and overlay layers for framing assistance
  • Grid lines and anamorphic lens distortion correction

Creative LUT Integration for Log Workflows

A key feature of the SeeMo 4K for Android is its ability to apply creative LUTs during monitoring while simultaneously embedding these looks into recorded or streamed footage. This is especially useful when shooting in LOG format internally on cameras, providing a refined look ready for immediate streaming or social media sharing.

Streaming and Recording Features

The device supports UHD 4K streaming to platforms such as YouTube, utilizing the Android device’s data connection. Advanced users can take advantage of RTMP and SRT protocol support for more sophisticated streaming setups. Its compact size makes it suitable for both studio environments and on-the-go production.

Recording functionality allows direct 4K H.264 capture to the Android device’s camera roll, enabling quick sharing on social media or professional platforms like Frame.io. This also serves as a dependable backup for primary footage.

The device is powered by a single NP-F battery that can simultaneously charge the connected phone or tablet.
